A giant rat – appropriately named Remy – has been spotted running across the floor of Westfield Parramatta in Sydney’s west.
Video uploaded to Reddit shows the animal scurrying beneath the tables at the popular shopping centre’s food court, looking eerily familiar to scenes from the 2007 Disney film, Ratatouille.
“Used to work in the centre sometimes past midnight. There were often whole packs of rats, some which were the size of small cats or dogs. Their screeching was terrifying at night to hear,” one person wrote.
Another added, “I’ve seen one at the same spot before too! Level 1 Food Court! Running towards the restricted entry/exit.”
