Santa will officially make his way to Sydney on Friday night after his flight path was given the all clear.
Lodged with aviation authorities earlier this month, his planned route across the country was given the tick of approval late on Sunday night.
After making his first stops in New Zealand, Santa will make his way to Australia, starting in Tasmania before working his way up Australia’s east coast.
As part of the approval, Santa has been issued with the call sign ‘Sleigh Rider One’ for tracking purposes.
An operations notice has also been issued for all other aircraft in Australia on Friday night to ensure Santa is given right of way to make his deliveries to all the good boys and girls on time.
