The devastating floods in NSW and Queensland left us shocked as a nation.
But, in true Aussie spirit, our country responded by digging deep and raising millions of dollars for the victims.
More than 40,000 households were affected and 20 people lost their lives across South-East Queensland and New South Wales. Thousands of families face a desperate struggle to get back on their feet as the floods washed away a lifetime of memories, destroyed homes and wrecked businesses.
Nine, Seven Network and Network Ten all united to host the appeal, with our very own Amanda Keller hosting the inspirational event.

Over the course of five hours, the Australia Unites: Red Cross Flood Appeal raised over $25 million for flood victims, smashing the $20 million target.
