A contestant on the game show Jeopardy! has caused Rolling Stones fans everywhere to simultaneously smack their heads in the US.
During a recent episode, the player chose the $400 clue in a category called ‘Knight After Knight’ and a picture of Michael Caine appeared on the screen.
Host Mayim Bialik read the clue: “To honour his father, this star here was knighted in his birth name, so he’s Sir Maurice Micklewhite.”
The contestant responded: ‘Who is Mick Jagger.’
It wasn’t long before Twitter lit up.
“One of the contestants on Jeopardy just mistook a photo of Michael Caine for Mick Jagger. I’m not sure which of those two gentlemen would be more offended,” was one reaction.
