Karl Stefanovic stormed off the Today show live on air this morning (Wednesday) after his co-host Allison Langdon implied he was ‘fat’.

It comes after the pair were discussing the high profile defamation case involving Jonny Depp & Amber Heard.
Karl sought to make a comment, ‘Being called a fat old man is like…’ before co-host Ally corrected him bluntly with: ‘You’re not old.’
She clarified: ‘…or fat! I said all of them! Old or fat!’
But Karl leapt from the sofa and made it clear he wasn’t taking it. He told the camera: ‘She’s fat-shaming! She’s fat-shaming again, Australia! I’m going on a diet.’
After storming off set, he left Ally alone to wrap up the show, in disbelief she said: ‘I was paying you a compliment!’
But Karl’s tantrum didn’t stop there, as he shouted: ‘I really try. My feelings get hurt!’
Karl was later seen pretending to cry against a wall at the back of the studio, confirming the stunt had been a joke.
