As we continue to tighten our cost-of-living belts, Netflix has confirmed it will create a lower-cost option for subscribers.
The streamer is partnering with Microsoft to deliver the cheaper alternative to its existing plans.
Thing is, unsurprisingly, you’ll have to sit through ads.
It’s not clear how many ads or how often (or where) they’ll appear.
It comes after Netflix recorded its first-ever quarter of losing more subscribers than it gained.
The option looks like it will launch towards the end of the year.
