The past 18 months have simply been unimaginable for Lisa Curry. Not only did the 59-year-old lose her mum, but also her 33-year-old daughter, Jaimi.
The former Olympic swimmer appeared on Jonesy & Amanda to discuss her new book, Lisa: 60 Years of Life, Love and Loss on Tuesday.
While the writing experience has been partly cathartic, it has also reopened a few wounds.
“With the book out, having to relive the moments, I’m not sleeping again,” Lisa explains.
“But, there’s a lot of people going through the same thing and I take comfort in that.”
