Musician and filmmaker Rob Zombie known for his hard R gore-fest films has released a brief teaser trailer for his upcoming horror-comedy based on the 1960’s classic ‘The Munsters’.
The film brings back the iconic characters with Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa.
Other characters given the Zombie treatment include Richard Brake as Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang and classic Doctor Who’s Sylvester McCoy as Igor.
Zombie’s history in horror has had some thinking this could be a dark reimagining of the show but he has stated that this will honour the original and is strictly a family film rated PG.
‘The Munsters’ will be released to later this year.
