Back in 1985, our very own Amanda Keller became a regular on-air reporter on Ray Martin’s Midday Show. Not only did she get to do something she loved, but she got the chance to come face-to-face with some of her favourite performers.
One day, she got word that Spandau Ballet would be appearing on the show. At the time, Spandau Ballet happened to be one of her favourite groups. She knew everything about the band!
But, one day she went absolutely blank, and that day happened to be when her favourite band would be appearing on the Midday Show.
Fast forward over 30 years later, Gary Kemp joined Jonesy & Amanda to chat about his brand new album ‘Insolo’ and the incident that still keeps Amanda awake at night.
